Diary Of A Neurofeedback Newbie: Part 2

"It was really hot this evening, and I had to make an early dinner in a muggy kitchen and then wait for my daughter at swim practice in the beating sun. Usually this makes me really short tempered, but I managed to keep my cool tonight."

Session 2

After my second appointment, I didn’t feel as groggy. I came home and immediately got to work on a project and was locked in. I started and finished what I needed to do in the time allotted. I wasn’t distracted by email or other things. I just worked, and it felt good.

Session 3

This was another session after exercise. I seem to be able to get into a deeper state of relaxation more quickly when I do neurofeedback after exercising. I have decided that the groggy feeling is more of a deep calm. I feel absolutely no stress from when I get up from the table until about 30 minutes later. It’s not that I feel stress later. It’s just that the sense of absolute peace gives way to reality.

Session 4

I had another good session and felt the floaty deep calm feeling immediately afterward again. It’s like nothing worrisome or stressful can get in. It’s amazing.

I had another busy day, but I didn’t feel as drained at the end as in the past.
