balanced nutrition
At Wellness Architecture, we see food as medicine. We realize that the way we nourish ourselves has a direct impact on our health and how we feel. This is why we encourage our clients to eat a whole foods diet. When we feed our cells the nutrients they were meant to have, a state of health arises.
We don't expect our cars to run on vinegar or gas fumes. Similarly, we shouldn't expect our body to maintain optimum performance when we fuel it with poor quality nutrients, such as processed and refined foods (most packaged food and drink). Unfortunately, a number of toxic chemicals are also added to most packaged foods that decrease the quality of our "fuel" even more. Our bodies don't know what to do with this kind of fuel and as a result, a state of disease or dis-ease occurs. Food is our fuel...and if we want our bodies to run well, we need to fuel them with the proper, highest quality nutrients.
Poor Nutrition can result in:
- Acne and other skin problems
- Allergies
- Anxiety
- Arthritis and other joint pain
- Autoimmune disease
- Cancer
- Constipation
- Degenerative neurological diseases
- Depression
- Digestive problems
- Headaches and migraine headaches
- Heartburn
- Heart disease
- Heightened menopausal symptoms
- Hormonal imbalances
- Infertility
- Obesity/weight gain
- PMS and other menstrual irregularities
- Seizures
- Sleep disturbances
